The River Eden


The river eden runs just outside the lake district from kirkby stephen right up to where it enters the sea near carlisle, and offers some of the finest salmon and brown trout fishing in England. It also has good runs of sea trout in the summer, and holds grayling in some places which are worth trying for in the winter.
